Review – Nescafe Special Edition

As is well known amongst my friends and family network, I LOVE coffee. I like it strong and in abundance. I’m not one to buy an espresso because a mouthful of coffee is just a tease and I prefer a great big mug/glass instead.

Today I was at BigW and found the new Nescafe Special Edition Salted Caramel Latte in store. Being the coffee lover I am, when I see a new coffee i’m on it at full speed!

But i’m disappointed. I normally do not buy sachet style coffees, Rather I brew my own in my old trusted Delonghi thankyou to my mate Melissa for the hand me down of the machine ❤ and add my own flavouring syrups to my liking. Or have it plain with milk.

Now don’t get me wrong here, the taste is nice. It’s subtle and pleasing but it’s the serving size that gets me down. I wish I had of read the side of the box before purchasing.

Now I don’t know about you, but 150mls of coffee does not make a coffee for me. It’s almost a taste test size you would get at a stall in the supermarket to show a new brand. I ended up using two of the sachets and that’s only just over a cup of coffee 300mls and still quite a small coffee by most people’s standards *at least by the people I know and have asked*

Nescafe, Whilst the flavour was nice, I wonder if you could cater to the coffee addicted amongst us and create LARGER sized servings? Ideally I like a coffee to be about 400ml not 150ml. So how about it? you’ll have many happy consumers I am sure if you did this for us.

Overall if I am rating this product according to taste and ignoring the size I would give it 4 out of 5. It’s nice, give it a go and tell me what you think 🙂
